I was born to a bi-cultural family in the vibrant border town of El Paso, Texas.  Since my father is Mexican and my mother American I was able to grow up embracing both my Mexican and American heritages.  Living with two different cultures made me appreciation the value and richness of the cultures I’m apart-of and I look forward exploring the unique beauty of individuals and their cultures worldwide.

I am a Professional Photographer that enjoys photographing in different Photography categories such as Landscape, Fashion and Portraiture. When studying at Academy of Art University my first major was Industrial design. My true passion in this world is cars and I wanted to be part of the automotive world and I started learning Automotive design. While studying automotive design I realize that I enjoy looking at pictures of cars and not about the design of them. I like the composition, lighting and the environment of which these cars we placed in. After three semesters of Industrial design I made a choice to switch my major to photography which means lose my college credits and start over; it was the best choice I made. While living in San Francisco, photographing landscapes was incredible because California is beautiful. Traveling east to Yosemite, north was the Red Wood forest, south is, Joshua Tree and my favorite place the Salton Sea, and west is were to see incredible sunsets over the vast endless ocean.

After living in San Francisco for eight years I wanted to something new, a new challenge. The challenge was to try and be a successful Fashion Photographer in one of the biggest hardest cities in the US, New York City. I packed my things and drove to NYC with a place to stay and no job lined up. When I got to NY I emailed a bunch of top fashion photographers and the one that emailed me back was Joseph Chen. While I’ve been assisting Joseph, I have been doing small editorials, test shoots with modeling agencies and doing portraiture. I enjoy it very much, learning new fashion trends seeing nice clothes, meeting incredible talented people. Being around beautiful models, working with a team to create beautiful art is a lot of fun, it’s a whole different world. But in the end Landscape photography is were I am best at it was I enjoy most. I mostly shoot with digital cameras but recently I have been shooting with old medium-format cameras. Film photography adds a new type of quality to a picture that digital cameras really can not do.

I am ready to travel around the world searching for the best, most beautiful, epic locations and capture the scenes so I can show them to the world. The world is a beautiful place and I want to document the magical moments what earth has provided to us. The world is a precious living thing and forever changing.
